The National Dairy Council (NDC) is delighted to announce the winner of its corporate Christmas card competition, Mia Fitzgerald, aged 10 from Ballyfin National School, Ballyfin, Co Laois.

NDC launched a special competition this year inviting schoolchildren from all over Ireland to design this year’s Christmas card. Over 350 entries were received with the theme of ‘festive dairy farming’, and there was a very high standard of entries from budding young artists all over the country. Mia and her teacher David McNabb have each won a €100 One4All voucher as well as a signed jersey by Rugby International and NDC Sports Ambassador Garry Ringrose.

The winning card design will also be promoted and featured across NDC’s social channels, in print and media. Mia spent 4 hours designing her card using new art markers and colouring pens she got. She used these to do extra detail and loves to draw and paint in her spare time.
