‘Nutrition & You’ – Free online event with expert dietitians – June 17th

Ever wondered why gut health is so important or why some people never seem to put on weight? With so much information out there right now, it can sometimes be difficult to separate fact from fiction!

Now all your questions can be answered at a special online event with some of Ireland’s top diet and nutrition experts.

Nutrition & You: Talking to the Experts’ is a free online event, open to everyone, which will provide evidence-based and accurate information on a wide range of nutrition topics.

The event, by the Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute (INDI), in collaboration with the National Dairy Council (NDC), will bring together expert dietitians to discuss a range of nutrition topics across the life stages, including: Weaning and Feeding Toddlers; Sports Nutrition; Healthy Ageing; Body Weight; Disordered Eating; Gut Health; Food Allergies and Alternative Diets. Television Presenter, Anton Savage will be moderating the proceedings.

Speaking about the event, INDI Communications Manager, Louise Reynolds welcomed this opportunity for the general public to hear from expert dietitians. “We know that not everyone gets to ask a dietitian the questions they have about good nutrition for themselves and their families. This exciting virtual platform provides a fantastic opportunity for people to sit back at home and get some top tips from the experts to put into practice in their own lives. Whatever your nutrition interest or stage of life, we are sure you will learn something new from our experts”

The event will take place on Thursday 17th of June from 10.45am-2pm.
