Louise Crowley

Louise Crowley has been farming full time with her father in Croom, County Limerick, since 2018. They have a milking herd of 180 cows.
Louise enjoys sharing her farming life on social media, advocating for Irish women in agriculture. Louise is an active member of the dairy community, getting the message out to the general public about life on a working farm and the realities of what is being done towards delivering a more sustainable product, both environmentally and economically. Her authentic and engaging content helped to grow her following to over 36,000 Instagram followers.

Louise is a real advocate for farmers and farming – she’s heavily involved in the more political side of farming and is a strong champion for women in farming, for young farmers and for social media as the best way to connect. She loves cutting silage and she hates fencing.

Therefore, he says, young farmers should have a say in policy, as it affects dairying, and have some influence in how the industry goes about achieving its goals.
